Acceptable Use Policy
This policy applies to everyone who uses Shlix AI or Shlix IBS, including an agency's owners, staff and anyone they authorize. It is part of our terms of service.
1. Use it for agency work
Use the service to handle your agency's own service work, for customers and policies your agency is entitled to act for.
2. Do not
- Try to see or change another agency's data, or another user's account.
- Share your sign-in, or let someone use the service who your agency has not authorized.
- Probe, scan or test the security of the service without our written permission. To report a problem, use our vulnerability disclosure process.
- Disrupt or overload the service, or try to get around usage limits or approval rules.
- Copy, resell, reverse engineer or build a competing product from the service.
- Use it to send unlawful, misleading, harassing or unsolicited messages, or messages that breach CAN-SPAM or the TCPA.
- Connect a mailbox, or upload data, that your agency has no right to share with us.
- Use the service to bind, issue or change coverage outside your carriers' authority, or to send a document a licensed person has not checked where your procedures require it.
- Upload malware, or content that infringes someone else's rights.
- Send health information that would require a HIPAA business associate agreement. Shlix IBS is built for property and casualty service work, and we do not sign such agreements.
- Give our staff access that your carrier or vendor agreements do not allow, including access from outside the United States, without telling us first.
3. What we do about misuse
If use of the service puts the service, other agencies or anyone's data at risk, we may suspend the affected accounts. We tell the agency why and work with it to resolve the problem. Serious or repeated breaches may end the agreement, as set out in the terms.
4. Reporting misuse
If you see the service being misused, please tell us.
